All users of GTA Data Online must agree to the following,
Your use of the GTA Data Online services is governed by and restricted under the
Subscription Agreement between you, or your institution (the "Subscriber") and
GTA Data Online. You may not use data downloaded from the GTA Data Online database
for any commercial endeavor which is not included in the license agreement.
For individual subscriber, you must protect the confidentiality of your GTA Data
online username and password. You may not reveal, disclose, transfer or share your
username and password with anyone, including but not limit to a colleague, a co-author
or other collaborator.
For institutional subscriber, you may not provide data access in any ways, any
forms to any other institutions or individuals, unless specifically addressed in
the license agreement.
GTA Data Online does not make any representations or guarantees about the
accuracy or timeliness of Internet links quoted in GTA Data Online, all links
quoted can only be used as reference. Although the contents have been
obtained from sources believed to be reliable, they are provided to you on an
"as is" basis without warranties of any kind. With respect to these services
and contents, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GTA Data
online hereby disclaims all express, implied and statutory warranties of any
kind to the user or any third party, including, but not limited to,
representations and warranties regarding accuracy, timeliness, completeness,
correctness, currentness, noninfringement, merchantability, or fitness for any
particular purpose, or any representations or warranties arising from usage,
custom, trade, or by operation of law.
In the event of your use of and access to the GTA Data Online services being
invalid or suspended owing to change of affiliation of your institution or
university or additional restrictions on your use of and access to the GTA Data
online services placed by your institution or university, The institution
administrator shall assume the responsibility for publicity, and the GTA Data
online shall give no other notices.
GTA Data Online assumes no responsibility for the consequences of any errors or
omissions. In no event shall GTA Data Online be liable to the user
or anyone else for any loss or injury caused in whole or in part by
contingencies beyond its control or negligence in procuring, compiling,
interpreting, editing, writing, reporting or delivering any content.
In no event shall GTA Data Online be liable to the user or anyone else for any
claim arising out of or relating to GTA Data Online -provided content,
including, but not limited to, any decision made or action taken by you in
reliance upon such content or for any types of damages (such as, but not
limited to, direct, consequential, special, incidental, punitive or indirect
damages), even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
If user is using the agent data of the third party provided by the GTA Data
online, he/she shall also be restrained by the relevant "Terms of Use" of the
third supplier.
GTA Data Online Privacy Policy
Overall Privacy Statement
GTA Data Online understands that the collection and dissemination of
personally identifiable information may be of concern to users of the site.
Because we gather certain types of information, users should fully understand
the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and release of that
information.
Information Gathered
The site's User Account Application requires users to provide contact
information such as name, organization, position and e-mail address. Additional
items may be necessary to provide including research interests, address and
etc.
Use of Information
GTA Data Online uses user and other information to identify the dominant areas of
interest of users and better prepare future content of the site. The main goal
is to constantly improve the value of the site and to protect the security of
the entire GTA Data Online system.
Advisory emails
Occasionally, GTA Data Online will send emails to advise users of additional
databases, changes within the site or information that may be otherwise
helpful.
Sharing of Information
GTA Data Online generally does not share personally identifiable information with
any other entities. However, users are advised that information maintained by
GTA Data Online may be disclosed in connection with judicial or administrative
proceedings or if in the sole discretion of GTA Data Online disclosure is
